Week 1 : Welcome - week beginning Monday 7th September 2020

  • Attend the Welcome session

  • Take part in icebreakers activities

  • Meet the members of the teaching team for your course

  • Information on how to contact your tutor

  • Learn about your course programme

  • Receive your yearly and weekly course timetables

  • Understand how to hand-in assignments and assessments

  • Learn how to log in to the college IT network and your student email

  • Complete online ‘Resilience’ and ‘Digital Skills’ questionnaires

  • Complete the on-line induction module - Safeguarding

  • Attend all your classes and arrive on-time

Week 2 - week beginning Monday 14th September 2020

  • Attend all your classes, either in person or online, and arrive on-time

  • Complete on-line and paper based assessments in maths and English

  • The BIG online Induction (your teacher will give you the exact date)

  • Complete the on-line induction modules - Coronavirus Student Module

  • Attend online Learning Resource Centre induction (your teacher will give you the day, date and time)

  • Look out for the publicity for the Student Welcome Fair - it will take place on Wednesday 23rd September 2020 between 12 - 2pm

Week 3 - week beginning Monday 21st September 2020

  • Attend all your classes, either in person or online,  and arrive on-time

  • Complete the on-line induction module - Health & Safety Student Module

  • Visit the Student Welcome Fair - Wednesday 23rd September 2020 (12 - 2pm)

  • Find out about clubs & societies and how to join them

  • Elect class reps and student representatives

  • Complete online assessments – maths and English

Week 4 - week beginning Monday 28th September 2020

  • Attend all your classes and arrive on-time

  • Complete the on-line induction module - Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

  • Come along to the Changing your Course session during Swap don’t Drop Week

Week 5 - week beginning Monday 5th October 2020

  • End of induction 

  • Continue to attend all your classes (online and in person) regularly and on-time.

  • Continue to behave according to the WestKing Student Behaviour Charter

  • Participate in all in-class and out of class activities.
